Who Is Counselling For?
Counselling may be helpful if you spend a lot of time trying to understand yourself, manage anxiety or cope with feelings that have become difficult to carry on your own.
Perhaps you feel different from those around you, replay conversations in your head, struggle to explain what you need or find that keeping everything together takes more energy than people realise.
You might have an ADHD or autism diagnosis, be waiting for an assessment, or simply be wondering whether neurodivergence could help explain some of your experiences.
You don’t need a diagnosis, the right words or a clear idea of what’s wrong to seek support. We can start with what’s happening in your life now and work from there, at your pace.
What to Expect from Counselling
Starting counselling can feel like a big step, particularly if you’re used to managing everything on your own.
Our sessions offer a confidential, supportive space where you can talk openly, explore what’s happening for you and begin to make sense of your experiences. There’s no pressure to share everything straight away or to know exactly what you want to talk about.
My integrative approach means we can work in a way that suits your individual needs, experiences and preferences. We’ll take things at your pace, together.

Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, especially if you’re used to managing things on your own.
